Sustained release capsules

Each sustained release capsule contains
Loratadine                                                                  5 mg
Pseudoephedrine HCI sustained-release        60 mg
Pseudoephedrine HCI immediate-release       60 mg

Relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, nasal congestion, rhinorrhea and nasal pruritus. This drug is recommended when both of antihistaminic effect of loratadine and decongestant effect of pseudoephedrine are needed.


  • Patients with cardiovascular diseases such as coronary insufficiency, arrhythmia, and severe hypertension.
  • Patients receiving monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor therapy or within 10 days of discontinuing such treatment and in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, urinary retention, severe hypertension, severe coronary artery disease and hyperthyroidism.
  • Hypersensitivity to pseudoephedrine and loratadine or idiosyncrasy to their components, to adrenergic agents or to other drugs or similar chemical structure.
  • Administration concomitantly with ketoconazole and azole derivatives or macrolide group.
  • Respiratory failure.

Dosage and administration:
Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 1 capsule every 12 hours.

Special precautions:

  • Pregnancy and lactation.
  • Patients 60 years or older.
  • Patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency (GFR < 30 ml/minute).
  • Children < 12 years old.

Adverse reactions:

  • Gastrointestinal tract disturbance, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, gastric pain and dry mouth.
  • Cardiovascular: palpitations, tachycardia and extrasystoles.
