Dosage information
3 MONTHS TO 12 YEARS OLD
Dosage initially, or during periods of severe asthma, or while reducing oral corticosteroids: 0.5-1 mg twice daily.
Maintenance:
The maintenance dose should be individualized and should be the lowest dose which keeps the patients symptom-free. Recommended dose: 0.25-0.5 mg twice daily.
12 TO 18 YEARS OLD
Initially, or during periods of severe asthma, or while reducing oral corticosteroids: 1-2 mg twice daily.
Maintenance:
The maintenance dose should be individualized and should be the lowest dose which keeps the patients symptom-free. Recommended dose: 0.5-1 mg twice daily.
18 YEARS OLD AND ABOVE
Initially, or during periods of severe asthma, or while reducing oral corticosteroids: 1-2 mg twice daily.

The maintenance dose should be individualized and should be the lowest dose which keeps the patients symptom-free. Recommended dose: 0.5-1 mg twice daily.
ADMINISTRATION
BUDESMA should be administered from a suitable nebulizer. A suitable fill for most nebulizers is 2-4 ml.
Some sedimentation may occur during storage of BUDESMA. If this does not readily resuspend completely upon shaking, the medicine should be discarded.

Treatment of bronchial asthma.
