Dosage information
FOR ALL AGES
1 – 2 sugar-coated tablets 3 times daily before meals. Dosage may be increased in bone disease. OSSORAL 200 is well tolerated in prolonged use.
PATIENTS WITH RENAL IMPAIRMENT
Long-term use of high dose should be avoided.
Indication
Ossoral is indicated for patients with osteoporosis due to various reasons:
– Primary osteoporosis (pre-, peri-, postmenopausal, elderly.
– Secondary osteoporosis (due to corticosteroids therapy, heparin, immobilization, rheumatoid arthritis, renal and liver disease, hyperparathyroidism, osteogenesis imperfecta).
– Initial treatment in patients with increased risk of osteoporosis.
– Ossoral may also be used to regulate calcium/phosphorus balance during pregnancy, lactation and bone fracture.
